I CAN AND I WILL

Philippians 4:13 gives us one of the most popular scriptures in history. It is a scripture that you have probably heard and quoted millions of times. It says “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”. What a great promise, yet few of us actually walk in it. The Bible is full of promises, but very rarely does someone take ownership of them. My encouragement for you today is to start taking ownership of what God has made available to you. Have faith in what He says and receive it as yours. As a Christian, these promises are part of our inheritance from a loving father. How many of you would decline the inheritance from your biological dad? Never! Through Jesus we have become heirs to the promise and now have the right to enjoy them. Years ago I spoke a message that was titled, “I can and I will”. We know according the word that we can, but until we internalize His word we never will. Know His word, Speak His Word and Walk in the fulfillment of His Word.
